Are there any naming guidelines for choosing a domain name?

In short, domain names must consist of letters, numbers, and hyphens. Special characters such as the underscore and exclamation mark are not permitted. There is also a length restriction of 26 characters, including the 4 characters which identify the top level domain (i.e. '.com'). Your domain name must also, of necessity, be unique.

About 80% of the internet will be able to see your domain name within 24 hours of InterNic registration. The domain name will "trickle down" to the rest of the world within a week. The actual times vary with the overall loads of the internet, DNS caching (enabled by some administrators around the world), and other variables.

It could take from several minutes to a couple of hours. There are no InterNic registration fees involved with your PagesPlus.com domain name.

If I want a web page developed, what questions should I ask?

PagesPlus prohibits the use of accounts for the purposes of hacking, network snooping, or other illegal and/or immoral activities. PagesPlus reserves the right to refuse service for any reason. Our accounts are provided for the sole purpose of providing your company a profitable web site. Please use it accordingly.

What are your Billing & Cancellation policies?

At your option, accounts are billed monthly, quarterly, semiannually, or annually. Except for your initial (pro-rated) payment, payment is due on the 25th of each anniversary month. Should payment not be received by the 1st of each month, you will receive an email message indicating the problem. If the situation is not resolved within 3 days, your account is subject to suspension or termination. Prices are guaranteed for the period of prepayment only. All funds are in U.S. currency. Returned checks are subject to a $20 fee. PagesPlus reserves the right to cancel service at any time for any reason. Should PagesPlus cancel your service, your monthly and setup fees will be prorated and refunded. Your account setup fees and any InterNic fees are not refundable.
